Carmel Lodge is home to the highly acclaimed Kurt's Carmel Chop House. This intimate 80-seat restaurant and bar has been a favorite of locals and visitors to Carmel since March 2001. It is considered one of the best dining options in Carmel by the Sea and suitable for all occasions from romantic to professional.

After many years of friendship, Chefs Kurt Grasing and Narsai David decided to blend their extraordinary culinary talents. The result is a contemporary menu offering savory prime beef and chops, fresh-catch seafood, and delectable pastas, all paired with the finest wines from California's Central Coast.

Area Dining

Wines and fine dining are abundant in Carmel and throughout the Monterey Peninsula. Carmel Nightlife

Carmel has only just recently allowed 'live' music in the establishments in the village so many are exploring entertainment in Carmel. Mission Ranch has a popular jazz bar that has live music weekly and during its Sunday brunch. From here, you can enjoy an incredible unobstructed view of Carmel River Lagoon and Beach. You may even be fortunate to see Clint Eastwood, owner and sometimes piano player, perform at this 'locals hangout' on any given weeknight!
